Industrial Workwear create 10 new jobs amid ambitious plans to double turnover to 4 million by 2021.
The Consett based workwear firm is plunging £250,000 into a new website, new machinery and increasing its factory space. Sales Director and local man Craig Hamilton, who has been with the company for 6 years, is excited about the next stage in the company’s life.
Craig said “Our plan for growth started 5 years ago. We have built strong foundations which have allowed us to create a launchpad for growth. We’ve worked hard growing the B2B side of our business. The company is now in a strong position to tackle the lucrative online consumer workwear market”
The online consumer workwear market, which is worth around 7.2 billion euros across Europe, is the main focus of Craig’s strategy for growth. As a result, Industrial Workwear have invested in updating their online presence and existing customer Portals. “Industrial Workwear have provided quality workwear and PPE since 1999. Therefore, we have the experience to back up the investment and push on to the next level “.
“Industrial Workwear have invested £100,000 in new machinery and increased our factory space by a third to allow us to manage the increased demand”.

Industrial Workwear will be launching the new website in June 2019.
