Started in 1999, this year sees the Consett based embroiderers and workwear providers celebrate 20 years in business. The company has enjoyed steady growth year on year allowing a launchpad for new ambitious growth plans set out by Sales Director, Craig Hamilton, who has been with the company for 6 years.
Craig’s strategy for growth mainly revolves around targeting the online consumer workwear market, which is believed to be worth around 7.2 billion euros across Europe.
The company is plunging £250,000 into a new consumer friendly website, new machinery and increasing its factory space which has also meant the creation of 10 new jobs
Craig said “Our plan for growth started 6 years ago. Firstly, we wanted to make the company completely financially stable and build strong foundations which would allow us to create a Launchpad for growth. After 6 years hard work growing the B2B side of our business, we are now in a strong position to tackle the lucrative online consumer workwear market and grow our business rapidly”
“We couldn’t have achieved this without our loyal and skilled north-east workforce, who are the backbone of our business. This is why we are delighted to create 10 new roles, 4 of these being apprentices, to help spearhead our growth”
“We have invested £100,000 in new machinery and have also increased our factory space by a third to put us firmly in the driving seat to deal with increased demand”
